So it's been a while. Last week was extremely busy for us and we're still recuperating. Jay and I had a night out at a comedy show on Friday and the following day we took the girls to see the Doodlebops (their obsession.) Right after the Doodlebops Mommy was off the the Spa with her sisters for some much needed R&R and it was amazing, short, but amazing. Then on Monday my brother, Jimmy, ran the Boston Marathon. His time was amazing! Way to go Jimmy! So we've spent the last week not doing much of anything and it was very nice. Yesterday Jay and I took the girls to the park. It was a new park to us. There are two nearby but we have always chosen the other. It was a nice change for the girls and they are complete daredevils now. They even go down the "big" girl slides! A big difference since last spring/summer. After the park we visited with Nana Connolly. She is doing great and will be home on Wednesday. The girls said they want to have a party for her and wear their party dresses. Such girls! Then we were of to Nana Marie's for dinner. It was such a nice, relaxing day.

ugh...did she really just say that?

I had to laugh this morning as I was getting the girls dressed in shorts and t-shirts. It will be 85 degrees here today. This weather has been crazy!

So it's not the greatest homemade cake I've ever seen but it tasted great! This was the only other picture that was taken today and I'm not about to whip out the camera for anymore Kodak moments. It's been a long day around here and I'm looking forward to putting the kids to bed and catching American Idol!

P.S. Can you believe the twins actually had the nerve to say, "ewww...gross," as I handed them their slice of cake? I didn't think it looked that bad!

She's ONE!

More pictures to come...

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Yet another holiday has come and gone and I am exhausted. Friday night Jay and I colored eggs with the girls. It was a lot messier than I had expected but they enjoyed themselves.

They were very excited to find the eggs that the Easter bunny hid all around the house. Next, it was time to open baskets. I love the first picture where Hillary has spotted them.

Then we were off to Nana and Papa Rich's house. Amidst all the confusion of the many grandchildren, I forgot to take pictures. As you can imagine, all the kiddies were in their Sunday best and the girls had an Easter egg hunt with their cousins and got to choose prizes. Next stop, Nana Marie and Papa Marty's house where they had their third Easter egg hunt of the day and got another basket filled with more candy and toys! As Nana Connolly would say, "S-P-O-I-L-E-D!" We also celebrated Mallory's first birthday with cake and ice cream.

Mmm...want some?

Happy Birthday Mallory and Brooke!

We're finally online. Our computer had a virus and needed to be repaired. The last two weeks without the internet felt much longer. Yesterday the Rich family had a first birthday party for Mallory and Brooke. The weather was beautiful and all of the kids had so much fun!

I also wanted to include a picture of a block tower that Natalie and I built. When we were done she looked at me and said, "Aw, that's cute! Get the camera." Too funny!

And who doesn't love pj pictures...

I almost forgot...never, EVER give a toddler free reign of a goodie bag on the car ride home...

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Thank you Grammy Maxwell for the kilts!

Yesterday Jay and I took the girls to the park. They even took their Dora soccer ball with them. Jay has this vision of the girls being little athletic tomboys and I have to laugh because they are no where near being tomboys. We threw the ball into the grass and they wouldn't kick it or touch it because it was "too dirty." We'll have to wait and see if he gets his tomboy with Mallory.
Loving the beautiful weather!

Beautiful Girls

Miss Hillary
At Rex & Reed's 1st b-day party, getting their faces painted.
Here they look so much alike, you can barely tell the difference.
This is my favorite shot of Mallory. Is this the best, or what?!?
The girls with Nana.
Such a beautiful pic of Natalie.
Another great one of Mallory.

Look at Natalie's eyes! Striking green.
Sweet Mallory peeking up at me.
Here's a couple funny photos taken with a sweater wrapped around their heads. They really got into it as you can see! They always have a great sense of humor!
Below is Natalie with a big smile!

Since Jeannie has been such a slacker about posting, I wanted to share some really cute pics of the girls that I have taken. They are so funny, so cute and I always look forward to seeing them. They really make me laugh! --Auntie Katie
