Fun at the Pool

These pics were taken at Nana & Papa's house on Father's Day. Check out the bottom picture-- in case you didn't realize, that is Hillary's new smile! Too cute.

Finally an Update

I am a bad blogger! We have a ton going on around here and when we move, I vow to be a better blogger. Speaking of moving, we pass papers on Tuesday! Very exciting news. I'm sure we're going to be super busy the next two weeks. Just thinking of what the next few weeks will entail makes me completely overwhelmed.

In other news, I want to give a big shout out to Auntie Christy and say, "Happy Belated Birthday!"

I have no pictures from the last few weeks because my camera batteries are dead. If you're looking for a full report on the Maxwell girls, you can check out Cousin Rex's blog...we've been seeing a lot of each other these days. Hope everyone is doing well!

Wanted!

stats:
34"
20 lbs
brown hair and green eyes
answers to the name of "peanut"

Natalie found a purse in my closet this morning. It was a large purse and she was very interested.

"Maybe I like this pocketbook. I need to take it to Auntie Kelli's house. I want to take Caragh and Reilly's toys home with me."

Auntie Kelli hide the toys and we'll see you very soon!

And they're alseep...

They lasted about two hours before crashing. If you know anything about my kids, you know that they DO NOT nap. This is extremely unusual to have them all down. I better take advantage of this!

Rise and Shine Mom

This morning I was awoken at 5:30 am to sick twins. Now I've seen some pretty odd twin behavior in the past, but to get sick at the exact same time and in different beds! So we've bathed and gotten new jammies and now I am doing my best to convince two hungry kids that they really don't want to eat. It's going to be a long day. And to top it off, they woke the baby up and she is not happy.

The twins on the other hand, could not be happier.

Response to comments

Auntie Katie asked for an example of what I would jot down on a note card (refer to last post.) There were many things that made me laugh today...

1. After putting on my shoes for work, Natalie looked at me and passionately said, "Mom...I wanted to wear those shoes today!" They were cute espadrilles I may add...that's my girl!

2. Over the past several days (today included) Hillary has asked for peanut butter soup for breakfast. Very strange.

3. Although I didn't find it funny at the time, I caught Hillary and Natalie modeling my new shade of lipstick. They thought it was hilarious! The best part was that as I was putting Mallory into the car, I removed her binky from her mouth and she was wearing lipstick too.

4. And of course I had to save the best for last! Auntie Kelli...you can stop reading here. So a few days back I went to a hair show nearby. They provided us with a mannequin head to work on and after I was done, I tossed it into my car. This morning as I was packing the car up to leave, I came across the mannequin. I whipped it out and both girls gasped. And then all of the sudden, Natalie yelled, "AUNTIE KELLI!" So I had to take a picture...

HAHA...later she called her a princess. So Auntie Kelli, you're a princess!

Wanted to share...

A few weeks back a client from the salon gave me a great idea that I've been meaning to share. For years, she had been keeping a box of note cards in her kitchen (or any area where they are easily accessible for you) and when her children said something that made her laugh or they had done something she'd never seen before, she would jot it on a blank note card along with the date. She had been doing this for years and acquired many boxes. She doesn't do this anymore because her children are teens but they love to go through the old boxes and see some of the things they came up with as toddlers/kids. I thought it was a great concept because I am so awful with the baby books and the girls are always doing something that makes us laugh.
